    Are you a self-starter looking for an entry level opportunity where you can build a career?  Are looking to apply your experience at a growing company that is the leader in their industry?  Our Legal Administrative Assistant will provide a wide range of administrative and clerical support to our Corporate Paralegal and other members of our legal team. 

    Responsibilities

    Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

     

    • Handling confidential documents and circumstances
    • Reviewing legal invoices, inputting information into spreadsheets, obtaining approvals, and processing payments
    • Preparing documentation relating to the incorporation and dissolution of corporate entities and the filing of annual reports
    • Preparing security filings for lease transactions and maintaining spreadsheets of the same
    • Collecting, reviewing, and maintaining insurance documents
    • Acting as a liaison with all departments to collect information and documents
    • Performing general clerical duties including typing and modifying documents, filing, photocopying, faxing and mailing
    • Providing administrative support to the Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Associate Counsel as needed

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED required. Some College education preferred
    • 1-2 years of administrative experience required
    • Legal experience is preferred
    • Extremely organized with attention to detail
    • Above average computer skills including extensive experience with Word and Excel are required along with ability to learn new programs
    • Ability to work well independently, as well as contribute to the overall success of the team
    • Ability to timely identify problems, process resolution and implement solution
    • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads and remain flexible
    • Willingness to take on special projects as assigned
