  • Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager who is passionate about driving employee engagement to handle all aspects of Human Resources including recruiting, hiring, benefits, performance management, employee development, etc.  As our field Human Resources team member, the Human Resources Manager will report to the VP, Human Resources at our corporate headquarters and work closely with the corporate HR team while supporting our Kentucky based organizations TRAC Interstar and TRAC Tire Services. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Drive the talent acquisition process from inception to completion: workforce planning; search strategy; partnership with hiring team; placement of required talent within targeted timeframes
    • Develop a process to create a great candidate experience
    • Ensure successful new hire assimilation and training
    • Establish TRAC’s identity and brand as a preferred employer
    • Identify and propose Best Practice Solutions to current/projected recruiting needs.
    • Utilize appropriate job search techniques to locate targeted candidates.
    • Build and maintain a network of qualified candidates within our core skill sets.
    • Administer HRIS; maintain employee information and records and create reports as necessary.
    • Manage local benefits including new hire enrollment and annual open enrollment
    • Work closely with business leaders regarding Employee Engagement, Performance Alignment and Management, Rewards and Recognition, and Employee Development
    • Manage Employee Events and Activities, including community support activities
    • Work with business leaders to manage Employee Concerns, Performance Management Plans, and workplace investigations
    • Support additional business and Human Resources initiatives as required

     

    Qualifications

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years of recruitment and human resources experience in a high volume, fast paced environment.
    • Expert level knowledge of current sourcing strategies and techniques; demonstrated track record of success
    • Minimum 2 years of HR Generalist experience is required
    • Advanced proficiency with computers, especially Recruiting Search Techniques, Microsoft Office Package (i.e.; Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Experience/knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and iCIMS is preferred
    • Compelling and naturally persuasive oral communication skills, along with excellent writing skills
    • Must have a strong drive for results, yet be nimble and adaptable to changes
    • Must be pro-active, able to work independently and adaptable.
    • Superior aptitude to prioritize and to handle multiple priorities at once
    • Detail oriented with strong organization, communication and project management skills
    • Experience handling confidential documents and circumstances
    • Possess superb interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with all levels in the organization

     

    Work Environment

    • This position operates in a typical office environment as well as in a manufacturing setting.
    • Must have the ability to support employees who are working second and third shifts, and weekend
    • Tempo is fast-paced with stringent deadlines. Work environment is often high volume and high pressure.
