  • Overview

    The Invoice Review Coordinator will receive Maintenance & Repair invoices from our field locations and vendors, review them for accuracy, seek out any additional required information to facilitate rebills, then process these invoices to be paid.

     

    The Invoice Review Coordinator needs to have strong analytical and Excel skills, as well as excellent communication skills to work with our vendors and internal partners.  Intermodal transportation industry experience is ideal, but we will provide training for the right person.  If this sounds like an interesting opportunity to you, apply now and come grow with us!

    Responsibilities

    • Review, validate, and approve invoices and payments received
    • Work closely with our vendors to ensure invoices and purchase orders are received and processed correctly
    • Issue purchase orders to authorize vendors to perform repairs
    • Review list of rejected and suspended invoices daily and take actions to ensure these invoices are approved and processed quickly
    • Investigate potential 3rd party re-bills, which may include gathering documentation from others and researching various databases including Microsoft Access
    • Create and distribute reports in Excel for various Chassis Pool Managers, Maintenance and Repair teams, Operational departments and Vendors
    • Continue to identify and correct system issues and develop process improvements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain / Logistics, Accounting, Data Analysis or related field highly preferred
    • Must be strong in Microsoft Excel, experience with Microsoft Access preferred
    • Must have strong experience and interest in analyzing data to ensure compliance
    • Must be able to adapt well to changes in processes, software systems, responsibilities, etc.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to work out solutions collaboratively with vendors and internal field employees
    • Must work well with others as this is a team-oriented work environment
    • Experience in Logistics, Transportation or Maintenance industry is a plus
