Overview

• Lead implementation and management of human resources programs in partnership with leadership including: employment processing, compensation, total rewards, learning and development, recordkeeping, employee retention/recognition, employee communication, safety and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Work with HR Generalists to coordinate and facilitate onboarding process and new employee orientation which includes processing background check/drug testing, creating/maintaining personnel files and benefit enrollment.
• Assist in the development of TRAC Learning and Development Curriculum: review required coursework, scheduling, completion and certification as well development, organization and delivery of training as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining organizational chart changes, validating reporting lines and distributing to senior leadership team on a monthly basis.
• Provide administrative support to HR Senior Manager and HR organization.
• Administer and manage HRIS; maintain employee information and records for employees and create reports as necessary.
• Drive talent and business decision making by preparing and analyzing data and analytics.
• Recruitment from sourcing to on-boarding in support of Senior Manager, recruiting; process all New Hires and Separations.
• Implement, socialize and track organization-wide Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program and corresponding Core Values re-fresh.
• Ensure compliance with federal/ local laws; this includes auditing all new hire paperwork, pre-employment requirements, background check and drug testing, EEO reporting, FMLA, State Disability, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.
• Assist with administration of Performance Management, Rewards and Recognition
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures, preparing correspondence, reports or other variety of special projects, communications and tasks.
• Conduct meetings in small and large groups to inform employees of current events such as changes to policies, benefits, and organizational structure: maintain good communication and a positive relationship with employees to promote employee satisfaction.
• Manage Employee Events (i.e., annual picnic, holiday party, etc.)
• Assist in the conversion, implementation, upgrades, and data integrity of HR Technology including: ADP, UKG, and related systems.
• Work with HR Manager to conduct annual Employee Engagement Survey and provide follow-up via Focus Groups, Employee Communications, and additional Surveys as needed.
• Develop new and innovative Employee Engagement initiatives
• Lead the TRAC Gives Back Corporate Social Responsibility program

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 Years broad, diverse Human Resources experience is required; Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
• SHRM designation not required but strongly preferred.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365), including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must have ability to create high level presentations, employee communications and analyses.
• Detail-oriented with a strong customer service orientation.
• Initiative to learn and apply new concepts/processes and to improve current processes.
• Ability to provide accurate response to confidential/sensitive requests and handle confidential information.
• Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous deliverables with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work with all levels throughout the organization, including Senior Executives.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

 

• This position requires long periods sitting behind a desk, extensive use of a telephone, and performing tasks on a computer.
• Tempo is fast paced with stringent deadlines. Work environment is often high volume and high pressure.
• Travel Required – 25%
